Brazil, drawn by 4096 rotating circles. Brazil and all of its states, traced as one continuous curve.
This poster is the final frame of our animation: a Fourier series breaks the outline of Brazil (27 states) into 4096 circles spinning at different speeds. Chained together, their tip traces the map with an approximation error below 0.1%. The two formulas at the bottom are the actual equations behind the drawing.
